Looking at a photograph of a young cute girl,
seeing in her, the mother whom I loved so much.
A sweet little country song.
Drawing by L Ahlqvist.

Those times will never be

I don't know if this memory is to share
As the tears are rolling down my cheeks
And I wonder if ever she'll care, about me
she could be a daughter of mine.

Thinking back of the times with her mother
lovely times that lingers in my memory
but I wonder if she really bothers, at all
she once was, the love of my life.

But I know those times are gone forever
but it's still really hard to take in
yes, I know those times are gone forever and ever more
and I know those times will never happen
those times will never be...

Now and then she crosses my path
but never stops to say hello
I wonder what I did to hurt her so
If I done wrong, I never meant to be.

I know that some times were bad
But I will never regret
the good times in love that we've had
Assured that she, was the right one for me.

But I know those times are gone forever
but it's still really hard to take in
yes, I know those times are gone forever and ever more
and I know those times will never happen
those times will never be...
