yet again another love song, erm...probably sounds pretty much like the died and gone to heaven one, i was goin through a pretty rough patch in my life when i wrote them.

Broken Truth

Your love was just like a strip tease
I'd see part of your mind
Then get lost in your emotions
You'd hide away
Somewhere I couldn't follow

Remember our love?
You took my breath away
I loved you
The way you never changed
Even if we were with your friends

When you looked at me
My heart skipped a beat
And my knees went weak
You always found time for me
And your mates

I realised it was all a game
And I gave you a true name
Your feelings for me were all lies
And the pain tore me apart inside
Your pain had become my pain
A torment of my dreams
It was the pain,
The pain of your broken truth

I'd see a part of your mind
And then you'd hide away
You'd go where I couldn't follow
Somewhere I couldn't find

I realised it was all a game
I gave you your true name
Your faith in our love was all lies
And what hurt the most was
You never admitted the reason
For your broken truth
