The Weather Is Fine

I should never
write about
religion race politics
sport is iffy
the weather is fine.

That's kind of how I relate to my family members. When I visit them, we talk about the weather--one of the few things we can speak of without getting into an emotional argument.

Brief, but meaty poem.
