My Haunting Death

Watching down on myself shivering in fetal
as I'm rapidly going through the cycle of life
From death to birth and the other way around
seeing myself rot, anguished by the strife

It seemed that my destiny
was to repeat this agony
as the reappearing image of myself dying
was breaking the core of me

The never-ending visual
of ones birth and death
Experiencing oneself
taking the last breath

It haunts to know the feeling of
when your body and soul dies
An image resurfacing
as soon as you close your eyes
