This is a poem I originally wrote in Norwegian. But I love it, and I wish to share it with you, so here's the Norwegian version, followed by a translation.

Iskald / Ice- cold

Iskaldt blikk
som sårer
skjærer i sjelen.
Iskalde hender
som tar i-
bar hud...

---
Ice-cold glance,
hurts,
tears the soul
Ice-cold hand,
that grips
bare skin..

Cold times four: eye and hand, each in both languages. That's COLD! I like the bringing together of figurative (eye) and literal (hand) coldness.
