Fade to Blue

Fade away let it end,
Enough of the torment
Enough of the trend...
Only so much can a soul bend,
Before their claws begin to rend,
Innocence of a child, lost in the fight,
Stuck on the line between the dark and the light.
Laying in tears wondering what's right.
Cerulean drops in the palm of a hand,
Swirls in the blood and drips to the sand.
Tired of life and all its demands,
The innocent searches the sky for the advent of a parent
That's all it wants...
Stretching across the gulf, gulls at play,
Joy stops the pain, as all melts away.
Sun sets around all,
Leaving the liquid silver ocean,
And its eerie call.
Fade to blue,
Fade to clarity.

...i find this piece particularly witful, well thought out, a painting that must be keenly observe, just in words.... excellent choice of words that inevitably trigger a myriad of thoughts causing one to ponder deeper than he otherwise would...i could get addicted to your flow...
