I see you

Collide with me tonight
as all even numbers dive
into early forgetfulness.
Every cell of my skin hums
to the mythical coming of demise.

Strap your vaporous gems
to the eclectic night of choice,
drop all acidic attempts
of ever going to war
impecunious and with no end.

Zoya Zaidi
I read your poems and I am seized,
With a sorrow; with a joy!
Sorrow, at your words,
That, they sometimes evoke!
Joy, at the sheer poetry,
You wrote!

So, what I supposed to do, dear Ben,
Rejoice at reading your words,
Or grieve with you?

(((((Hugs Ben darling, no matter what, I am with you)))))))

Love, xxx, Zoya
