A Cruise
In the distance waves rush to meet us
Still white sands caress our feet
Overhead the sun beats down
Humid dry oppressive heat
Halcyon days have flown forever
The holiday has gone too fast
And despite our true endeavour
Happy times aren't meant to last
In the brochure so inviting
Take a trip that's sure to please
An ocean cruise would be exciting
Come and sail the seven seas
And so we did and now we're stranded
No one here to share our plight
On this isle were we have landed
When our ship sank out of sight.
