A Tune of Tears...
Washed away that tear again-
Thought I had none left to cry,
Yet there came another winter rain
That broke my heart with another lie.
Soothing music and calm refrain
Took away the message of death,
Until angry demons trounced in pain
And swallowed my gasping breath.
Again bells toll in this stark room-
A tone of hell and a tune of tears,
As time follows its path of gloom,
Across these, our searching years.
