Love takes many forms.
One Man
One man made her body sing;
songs of passion, barely remembered,
when he held her tenderly, gently,
and stoked the smoldering embers.
Another touched her mind;
calling forth the wisdom of ages,
so that she felt aware again;
a tome of many pages.
And then there was the spiritual man;
Leading her into herself,
exposing depths of unknown origin,
until only humility was left.
A man who knew her heart songs
found her emotional plane;
and drew her out of herself again
in a blaze of glorious pain.
Convention says that she must choose,
for to covet them all is banned;
but oh, the tumult in her breast,
for she can not love just one man.
