Though you have to try too hard to offend a friend, try not to break a friend's heart.
they are also your partners in crime
when you lie, they'll catch you
but they'll lie to save your ass
they are your confidants
they'll pick up fights
to safeguard your rights
that they can trade their honour
for your sake, is not a surprise
a friend is
your identity
your integrity
your dignity
they'll stick to you through thick and thin
like whisky, vodka or gin ;-)
