I am fifty eight years old and I cannot think of a single instance where a policeman actually helped me. They either did nothing or made me even more miserable.
There is a red Honda
outside my house.
It has been there
for a week.
I call the police.
I get a message machine.
Seven hours later
I get a call.
Seems abandoned cars
are the responsibility
of the property owner.
I guess some night
Next week
I will push the damn thing
Out into the middle of the street....
It's always that way.
They want you to be a good citizen,
pay your taxes, care about your community
but when you do
you get nothing
or worse.
Lucky me!
The street
Is down hill
from my house.
