The Sun and Moon
Like a child without a friend to hold,She took my heart into her gentle fold,
Golden hair, flowing in this wind,
Holding my hand until the very end.
Off to the doctor's place in Aberdeen,
She casts away the sights she can't see.
Songs sung just to be heard out loud,
Words lost onto a spinning cloud.
Dear Cassie, there is a time for you,
Ignoring the pace of a game or two.
He met you upon that bench we shared,
And I wonder if you really cared.
You're the wild soul in my life now,
And forever I want to show you how-
To hide your fears within the clouds,
As the Sun and Moon make their rounds.
