Sue and Pru
Sue flung herself upon the sofaKicking off her high heeled shoes
Muttering "Thank God that's over
I should not have drunk so much booze"
The party that she had gone to
Was the class reunion of '88
Organised by her pal Pru
Her bosom friend and school time mate
Thinks - I must ring dear Prudence
Thank her for the super do
And those men so flirtatous
I took a shine to quite a few
"Hello Pru just called to thank you
For the party you threw last night
Are you sure? it was last Tuesday!
No my dear that can't be right
So where have I been for the last three days?
You say that we've got tales to share
You were with Jim and me with John
That accounts for my missing underwear".
