O what a Calamity

Yet another tragedy
A productive being has been lost
Lost to the dreaded disease
HIV/AIDS

And as if that is not enough
The life span of a sinless baby
Has just been shortened
Courtesy of this dreaded disease
HIV/AIDS

What a great loss
To the family of the dead
To the relation of the infected
And to the nation

O what a calamity

It is a tragedy in a monumental catastrophe and travesty. Earthquakes and tsunamis are tiny relative to this.
This cannot be stated too loudly.
