Crowned in roses?

the thorns and roses of every morn
the prick, the petals in every dawn
the rocks, the rivers that end in you
and seeded within the thoughts i drew

i found a bay where thunders whisper
where safety lies 'pon cat's whisker
sheltered by the thorns, the rose
in words unspoken, the rhyme, the prose
