to Beauty...

bright and sparkling

the initial beauty is

a furtive glance...

as beauty's fleeting

the deepest, though

within, the everlasting

a wanting to linger...

discernible in always

and never in hiding

beauty's lasting Truth

I like the melding of the personal:

"the initial beauty is
a furtive glance..."

and the more universal:

"beauty's lasting truth."

One implies a subject appreciation of beauty, the other an appreciate of link between truth and beauty.

(I don't like judging poems, but I suppose it's something we all do whether we like it or not.)
