A dream I had, written in Poetry
My eyes beheld an eerie sight,
for there on the ground below,
a crevice begin to open,
and it's light gave off a glow.!
The musty odor begin to rise
from the depths way down there
and a figure began to appear
from that musty air.
I hoped he hadn't seen me
as his eyes gave off a glow,
blood dripped from his long nails
to the depths far below.
The utter hardness of his voice,
the brutal scars he wore,
and when he spoke, it was a sound
to match a lion's roar !
I now knew who he was, they say
he is the Devil true,
The fallen angel Satan,
what was I to do ?
He started coming towards me,
I had one thing to try,
I closed my eyes & raised my hands
and prayed to God on high.
I thanked him for my life.
I asked for help you see.
I waited for the worst to happen,
as Satan neared to me.
With hands still raised towards the sky,
God's answer war no joke.
As I opened up my eyes
Satan vanished in a cloud of smoke.!
