Recipe of making tea superimposed with memories of love

Making Tea with love

I set the water to boil
and add some tea leaves
Dark brown and wilted
Like my memories of you

I add some milk
and a pod of crushed cardamom
The aroma releases
The mirth in our concord

The bubbling liquid
Masked by vapors
Fumes and spurts
love tunes

The leaves
soak
sweat
infuse
their essence
into the liquid....

I strain the tea
Through a fine seive
And stir in some sugar
Of Contentment?

The strained tea leaves
Lay on the seive
The best was taken
But the freshness
of a past romance
Rekindles a smile

Tea to make
Love to take
Tea to wake
Love to rake
Two make love
Taste better!

Zoya Zaidi
Tea making, and love making... A good symbolic blend dear Neelima, the whiff of the aroma lingers....

You have made in the making of tea a sensual and loving sacrament. I'll not think of it in the same old way again.
