Prayer

Falling on deaf ears,
begging voice for the air,
dredging up pains,
lasting on.
Longing for,
time's movement,
closing slowly,
touching roads gone.
The space,
stretching beyond,
my eye's sight.
Caught for my tear,
unknowing life,
dead to the sky,
unliving to the ground,
numb to life.
Heaven's call,
Armageddon coming,
to destroy my pain,
and to give birth,
to the great life.
The child of hurt,
offspring born warm,
from fires of death.
Tell the spirits,
speak to our dead,
asking, begging for,
our only hope,
our only way,
to live...love.
