Turn Stop - Visiting the light
"The train has arrived now. This is the final stop, " said the conductor. His voice reached her where she had fallen asleep in her seat. She winced, shivered a little."Where are we?"
"We have reached terminus, the last stop, " replied the conductor.
She stood up and took down her bag from the luggage rack. Went to the door. The landscape outside the train was bright. She saw a field, flowers and three white fugures. They smiled at her. One of them approached her.
"Welcome" said the figure, and his eyes radiated love and peace.
"Thanks. Where are we? I do not recognize me. Happened to fall asleep on the train."
"This is the final stop, turn the stop, "he repeated.
" Could you please you take my bag?" She noticed that it suddenly became inflexible heavy.
"No, I can not. You can not bring anything here."
"But why? When does the train return?"
"Let's talk about it. We may decide that when you come out."
"But the bag?"
"You do not need anything. You already have everything you need. Here with us. Come on, do not be afraid. You are expected, " said the figure, holding out her slender hand.
Although it was bony and almost translucent white, it felt warm and strong while she was helped down the stairs. Out there, she felt a warm breeze.
They made their way up to the station house. A large white building with the cloud-shaped domes. Everywhere a white light. Inside the house was a music she did not know where she heard earlier. It felt familiar. Soothing.
Inside the house, they where all waiting for her. Since they disappeared. She did it without knowing it.
" Let's talk about you," said the figure. "If you intend to stay here or go back."
" How long do I have," she asked
" You have the time you need. The time it takes."
" How can we decide?"
" We shall see whether you are ready or not. If anything more needs to be done."
They went in and sat down with all the lost and missing. They talked with each other. Something was not ready yet. She stayed as long as needed. Then it was decided.
