The day

The sun rises and the fire of the sun
Floods the blue sky, like a gigantic bonfire.
But this fire is an ocean of ice
On another night spent away from you.
Without the sweetness of your body,
The light from your eyes,
The charm of your voice,
I'm just a wandering soul,
Sentenced to frigid darkness of nothingness.
My life, my soul and my heart,
I've already given you forever.
To get up in the sun of your smile,
Nourish myself at the source of your kisses,
Feed me your being sublime
Warm me to fire my love for you
And sleep in the sweetness of my dreams
Haunt you for eternity.
