"There is no hope of hoping forever!", says an ancient adage.

Basic truth, the iceberg

The earth swanned round its axis finitely many times,
Round the sun twice to be exact,
The moon waltzed through its stages,
Trees blossomed and then lost their leaves,
Roses flowered and then died away in disgust,
Birds migrated a couple of times,
Some animals hibernated, they too a couple of times,
Starlings sang melliflously during the day,
Jackals cried for joy at night,
The world became joyous, sometimes dull,
Books were written, stories told,
Life seemed to go on,
Yet I remained stationary,
I thought of only one person,
I thought of only one thing: my love for her,
My ever blossoming love for her,
Today seemed a copy of Yesterday,
Yet hope never ditched me,
I swore,
"Tomorrow, I will find my love."

How beautiful, Advice.
The peace dove is a great lover of nature herself. So she enjoys very much the imagery here: the cycle of seasons and the trials of life.
As to love, she refers you to that oft-quoted passage from Corinthians. For though she is agnostic, it has always held a place in her heart.
A very moving piece.
