The light and its colours

"The self-effulgent light, which

illuminates the world ever shines.

It is indeed the witness of the world,

the self of all, pure in form, the basis

of all beings, Whose nature is pure consciousness"

Katharudra Upanishad

You are the love that you seek

Subject and object is shining as One

like light that is known in colours only

Awareness can never be separate from its content

and when content is absent this light

 is still shining bright

Thank you, NT!
A serene piece to end a rather fraught weekend. I love the quotation too.
Your musings inspired the comment I have just made on another poem here. Truth lies within ourselves, a beacon where all else is darkness. Very inspiring!
