Married and Gay

Between you and me
Is a Permeable wall
For Transmission
Of duties, love, even money.
You are my father.

Between you and me
there is an invisible
Umbilical cord
For transfusion
Of nourishment.
I am your mother.

Between you and me
There are a million
Unspoken thoughts
Long drawn silences,
Interspersed
by arguments and
Forgiveness.
We are flawless friends.

There is woman in every man
And a man in every woman
I am to you
What
You are to me.
Loving and gay.
