Wrote this the other night ;).

Getting away with your face intact

Yes
I'm a constant patient of social constipation
Con artist constables pacing
Walking around, self cuffing, self bluffing
Tremblings mingling, shaking hands
Without ever making sounds

More often than not I'll bite the hand that feeds just to feed my massochistic needs
Because ones cravings just might
be more important than behaving right
I'm a modern day tricky tickie tacky toe tippy toeing through a sea of new world order H2Oh my goodness gracious no!

But men and gentle ladies there's a monster in the trunk of your mercedes
Because these days, men and ladies, there's nothing gracious about the goodness
I undermine the rockets, writing novels with a shovel
With the hope left of finding a little bit of truth in my spitbucket
Ew, yuckie yuck yuck, good luck, go ahead, fuck it!

Lock me up and lock me tight
Tie my every little key to the string of your kite
And fly it baby, fly it maybe high enough to save me
Because I'm waiting for that saving right?
Well, getting away with your face intact is for a fact
A lot more important than behaving right

Social constipation--a fine expression, very suggestive and key to the meaning of the poem, which is full of UNEASINESS of a constipated bowel.

"shaking hands
Without ever making sounds"

Is my favorite part. I like the near miss rhyme scheme of it.

"Because these days, men and ladies, there's nothing gracious about the goodness"

This is very cool too because it shows an unusual way of thinking, placing the men before the ladies. I mean, as a thought process. It is what makes a poet unique I think from everybody else. They can see and hear and feel things differently.

hehe i agree with Ange1a... your poem is sort of chaotic but all controlled at the same time... it does make me want to do something outrageous too hehe... as always loulou, you make my mind go off into all kinds of scenarios... here im perceiving this as a way to say: hey, got only one life to live... lots of uncertainty.. but if you dont move.. nothing will happen ... im not so comfortable with randomnity in life ill admit but we make our path the best we can, right :) lots of energy and a philosophical approach to the reality of living... so many variables to consider and you lay them all out for the reader in this one... really nice work :) thanks for sharing... i really enjoy your creativity :)
