its time to change....
taking us back to earth's younger years.
before the invention of mail,
when mother earth shed no tears.
mother nature's children lived in harmony.
trees were the first of her kids,
and their birth was a wonderful ceremony.
but human were the most cunning of her kids.
humans-the last of her babies,
wanted to bring about a change.
they didn't enjoy the daisies.
and wanted their siblings in a cage.
mother nature was deeply saddened,
her children were killing one another.
but no one could change what happened,
trees, birds and animals were furious at their youngest brother.
men knew nothing could stop them,
the destroyed every tree they saw.
tilled and mined for the precious "gem"
and soon their axes they were to draw.
trees never saw it coming.
they were cut and burned mercilessly.
men didn't know what they were becoming,
they worked on the trees relentlessly.
and now here we re,
with trees few in number.
war,car,smoke and tar...
we destroyed mother nature's slumber

a tree's tale
it starts like every other tale, taking us back to earth's younger years.
before the invention of mail,
when mother earth shed no tears.
mother nature's children lived in harmony.
trees were the first of her kids,
and their birth was a wonderful ceremony.
but human were the most cunning of her kids.
