Two Tanka For Emeralde

A huge harvest moon

In the west November sky

Is dying at dawn

So close I can almost hold

Its bleeding heart in my hands

Here only the pines

Where there were no falling leaves

No autumn warning

Now the shadow of the hawk

Falling on frost brings winter

You bring me so much closer to nature, thanks to both you and Emeralde, it just makes me appreciate what is out there.

How beautiful, my friend.
And how honoured I am that my earlier effort has inspired such beauty. I love the images here and the very natural progression from Autumn to Winter. No doubt the new season will bring further delights.
Applause!
