...as you will notice in this poem, it was written by two members of this bay, kip and in'kwa, we are good friends, thats for sure and we seem to have the same taste...
kip:
There's a girl I once knew
Whose very person became my being,
If only I could see her,
If only my blood shot eyes after shedding
tears of joyous reminiscence could once again
behold the beauty of her emanating essence
in'kwa:
There's a girl I knew too
Whose every action
Became a part of my everyday living,
If only I could feel her,
If only my alert ears could hear
The music of our sweet romance,
I could once again relive this magical trance
kip:
It seems the girl I knew
Is the girl you knew too,
For there are only but a few
Who can capture the attention
Of not just one a man but two
in'kwa:
It seems like this girl we know
Is the one with so bright a glow,
The thief that steals both our hearts
And claims the show in more ways than one,
Not two, not three, not even four
...to girl
kip:
As I turn toward you
Looking straight into your eye,
Beholding that dumbfounding smile
That is ever so present,
I long to speak words but a few,
And keenly listen to the
Loveliness of your response
in'kwa:
As I turn towards you,
I pleasure in the sight of a
Beautiful view,
My heart pounds two a beat but in one,
With twice the passion
And three times the expectation,
A pounding so pure as drumbeats
In the still night air
kip:
It is I that calls out to you,
That seeks to know your name
So I may whisper it back to your ear,
It is I that you seek too,
For my heart brims with a loving
That only to you can be given
in'kwa:
It is I that sings out to you,
Sweetly letting my voice be about you,
For you are my music, my everyday song
It is I that you sing for
Melting me into a harmonious love
Your love, my love, our love
girl:
I want you, I want you too
But I know not what to do,
For two young lads
Confuse me with the richness
And depth of their intense words,
What am I to do?
I shall seek and search my heart,
But right now I must depart.
