This is what I think I've become.. from once, a VERY VERY curious and interested person to this..
or maybe, its just a product of my night-time depression...

Curiosity - A Lost Force

...And books they seem so dry
Stories of past, tiring
Words of Wisdom, astounding no more
Interests no more, interesting

I cry and cry for motivation, drive
For the least of praise or support
No more does it matter now
The world's ending, for sure

The powers of explosions, astronomical limits
Less powerful than the strength of thought
Why no more do they amaze me?
Exciting black holes, all lost

The weirdest of tests, the fiercest of fights
The profitable businesses, the banker's might
A friend's promise, a soldier's pride
All seem hollow, empty from inside

I've killed the child inside of me
With not as much as a warrior's remorse
And now my ships are burned,
Curiosity: A Lost Force

This is a nicely-written poem describing a feeling I know all too well. It's hell to have to force yourself to recognize that which is beautiful or amazing.
