Modern Pantoum Challenge (revised)
As always, this friendly challenge(not contest) is open to all members of PoetBay. Feel welcome to contribute, inspire us while you hone your poetic skills! Co - writing with another poetbay member is a welcomed possibility.
Please indicate in your posts that your poems are contributions to this challenge by including the following "Pantoum challenge" or "Current challenge" in your titles. We will as usual, collect them all and post them together (here) after the challenge ends(13/02).
What Is A Modern Pantoum?
Four-line stanzas. Lines 2 & 4 of the first stanza are used as lines 1 & 3 on the second stanza. Usually the paired lines are also rhymed. The last line of a pantoum is often(not always) the same as the first. The lines may be of any length, and the poem can go on for an indefinite number of stanzas.
