Nothing there

There is nothing in me

I despair

Nothing

What am I to do ?

No thoughts

just blackness

No poetry

No prose

Just empty

Nothing left to give

Nothing at all

Please, give it back to me...

Please

I weep, yet silent , alas alone....

Alone for eternitity, weeping.

Though it says 'Nothing there' I found an amazing piece of poem.
Simple
Often true
Sad
Beautiful.

LOL,

Contrary to the context I find this inspiring.

Well put!

"Nothing left to give" . . . sometimes it does seem like that, but it's not true, or not true for long. Like most things, despair is a choice, lament it and then let it go. It has no lasting power over a spirit like yours.

Joan Black
Great imagery, sad and a perfect picture of real sadness and moral devastation.
