Mια στιγμή ευτυχίας είναι κάτι που δεν περιμένεις γιατί άμα το περίμενες θα προσπαθήσεις να το αποκτήσεις & έτσι γλυστράει η ευτυχία από τα χέρια σου σαν τους κόκους της άμμου, για άλλη μια φορά φυλακιζεσαι μέσα στην άδεια την κλεψυδρα

 

A moment of happiness is something you don't expect If you expected it you try to get it, keep it, make it yours & that's how happiness slips from your hands like the grains of sand and once again you remain imprisoned inside the  empty  hourglass

Someone I knew long ago refused to admit that she was a pessimist, saying instead that she had learned to expect only the worst so that any surprises were pleasant ones. Perhaps she was right. Still, that implies that one has no dreams, a rather sad way to live.
