.. similar to Lady Di:s statement: there are three people in this marriage..'
Three in this bed
For a while
we were together
everytime we were alone
and also in between
accord resounded
lately an intruder
steals the limelight
even when I have you
to myself
and for myself
I must contend
and wrestle vainly
against the one
who in your mind
and body has replaced me
I should have been warned
you said clearly
that demons and angst
were only dealt with by sex or drink
as drink has taken over
more and more
sex plays but a second role
and this threesome
has me on the thin edge
my love for you
is love for a sponge
your love for me
drowns in wine
not in wine-red roses
but in lots of thorns
