the lucid children

as we watched the sun gently crawl across the sky,
(the impending death of us all, both gods and mortals,
ever present in our minds)
we conquered death

mesmorising moment –
mesmorised by moon,
starlit beach –
we walked the endless sands

the lunar goddess smiled upon the lucid children

mesmorised by the moment,
mesmorised by the moon –
the sun died at dawn
and no one mourned the passing

the lunar goddess smiled upon the lucid children

at night, we walked the sands of the starlit beaches
we worshiped the moon
and the divinities that lived there,
then we ate the moon and went home

eternity crashed!
(and we conquered death)
lunar eclipse –
i see the glistening of the moon in our eyes

A child smiling can course the most hardened hart soften. Give the hardened man reason to smile back.
