The beautiful night

 

 

 

The crackling fire is burning bright

 

in its soft amber light

 

shadows dance

 

The darkness is whispering with timeless beauty

 

Silvery moonlight is laughing among the waves of the ocean

 

The beautiful night is boundlessly free

 

to simply be

A beautiful night indeed, N T.
I love the intimacy implied by the whispering darkness and the merging lights. And the shape of the poem is lovely too.
