For Robin Gibb

a single feather

meandered through
the empty skies

was caught

feathers nestlings

elsewhere

receives new meaning

torn out from

the silenced breast

Teddy Donobauer
BeeGees played a part in my life along with many other almost legends. The fragility and almost wraithlike translucence of that man was captive.

Like Elle I wasn't a fan, though I did appreciate his talent. This poem is a soft and gentle tribute, very appropriate to the man and his nature.

Elle The PoetBay support member heart!
A Lovely tribute to a wonderfully talented songwriter. I was not a beegees fan as many will attest to but I do admire strong musicality and talent and respect them for the enduring ability to produce such high standard of music.
