a prayer

forgive me father
for i could not understand your words
you spoke to me in a different language
why?

forgive me father
for being afraid,
for running away,
for dreaming too much,
for wasting my time,
for all the mistakes i made,
for all the wrong answers i gave.

forgive me father
for i gave him my body,
for being only human
i am sorry.
