tibetans are dying
the phrase"help world, tibetans are dying!"
written upon a thousand signs,
set by shrines with images of the buddha
and candles serenely lit
"om mani padme hum"
half a world away,
no one knows what's going on
because they watch the news everyday
half a world away,
no one cares what's going on
because they have no bread
