There's got to be a better purpose
There's got to be a better purpose
Got to be a better way, tried-tested
The meaning of me is not what they think
Smoke filled rooms conversational drinks
Rose tinted glasses reveal a shocking pink
Can sense their plots of uneasiness
Pretty is a woman in a dress, no stress
My job is done ya don't have to guess
Spies linger in the cut looking as if
The show is about to begin Juliet his gift
Green envy, room and board infested
So I whispered, baby I'm not interested
Tell her I'm not interested
Be sure she understands
The heaven in me quietly demands
Tell her I'm not interested
Not interested
Not interested
Not interested
I'm not interested
What I neeed to survive they can't supply
Every word sworn a cold stone lie
Speaking to the invisible I faithfully rely
Can sense their plots of uneasiness
Pretty is a woman in a dress, no stress
My job is done ya don't have to guess
There's got to be a better purpose
There's got to be a better purpose
There's got to be a better purpose
Got to be a better way, tried-tested
Not interested
Not interested
Not interested
I'm not interested
A better purpose
A better purpose
A better purpose
There's got to be
