IF YOU THINK
If you think the world truly cares watch the newsDeaths by aimless shootings a natural way of life
The awful things done to children national debates.
Women held under the iron fist by harsh oppression
Yound men sent off to war, to fight and die, to fight
And die, to fight and die, to fight and die and die to die.
Daddy's little girl hasn't ever seen her father; such shame
So she marries a bad boy to add excitement to her pain
They have a son ready to fight anything that moves.
If you think the world truly cares just take a nasty tumble
Fall victim to hard times and see how well society reacts
I get the impression most people rejoice at misfortune.
Evil knows the loving kindness in the heart of mankind
It's something about sweet smelling tenderness they hate
I've seen this over and over again only to spew them out.
Daddy's little girl reads a bedtime story Cinderella her best
Kissed many a frog, pumpkin rides and home before twelve
Friends were few, associates so-so, the others live in hell.
If you think
If you think
If you think
Try believing!
