A LOVE TOO MUCH
Love too pretty to live longHer voice nightingale sweet
I would sit, listen by rainbow
Unsolvable problems creep
Peach nectar weeps a valentine
Sand in a hourglass evening gown
We waltz the tango, fox-trot alone
Fulfillment lasting a nanosecond
My knees show no sign of brusing
Life has increased its pulsating speed
Losing control at twenty miles per
My knees show no sign of brusing
Loving a love more than God
Most would think few dare to say
Holding one dear, faith a glimmer
Division leaves a remainder of fear
Goodness to a man's death shadow
Loving a love more than God
I haven't spent much time praying
Frenzy enters mind-boggling theologies
Games played and Broadway sells out
A hand puppet show will have to do
Muddy water hides her rusty dagger
Planted there left-handed if words fail
She finds it difficult to follow my lead
Flight of ideas rocket past memories
My knees show no sign of brusing
Life has increased its pulsating speed
Losing control twenty miles per
My knees show no sign of brusing
Loving a love more than God
Most would think few dare to say
Holding one dear, faith a glimmer
Division leaves a remainder of fear
Goodness to a man's death shadow
Loving a love more than God
Love too pretty to live long
Her voice nightingale sweet
I would sit, listen by rainbow
Unsolvable problems creep
