I FORGIVE YOU
Just before I had to appearThe second of ten performances
There came a sudden calmness
Followed by a strange chilling fear
It was clear something was in the air
In the front of my mind he appeared
Guess my work has kept me so busy
Did I even think if my baby missed me
I wonder why his easiness is such a threat to me
Whenever I get besides myself he simply lets me be
I kept hearing his voice saying
I forgive you
I forgive you
Baby I forgive you
I kept hearing his voice saying
I forgive you
Sitting in a front row reserved seat
He winks while blowing kisses three
I read his lips saying I forgive you
Singing my heart out what I'll never do
It was clear something was in the air
In front of my eyes his love sat sincere
I better check my daylight saving time
And never forget how much he loves me
I wonder why his easiness is such a threat to me
Whenever I get besides myself he simply lets me be
I kept hearing his voice saying
I forgive you
I forgive you
Baby I forgive you
I kept hearing his voice saying
I forgive you
(I forgive you)
(I forgive you)
(I forgive you)
