DO YOU LOVE ME? (I LOVE YOU)

Tell me, do you love me?
Because if you don't
This won't hurt me
Stop my heart from falling
This soul calling out to you
Tell me, do you love me?

I'm haunted when you're gone
Scared out of my mind all alone
On the edge of my seat shivering
Given too much of a good thing

I don't want for a thing
Nothing but more of you and yours
You're a naughty boy by night
Words I can't say in the light

Tell me, do you love me?
Because if you don't
This won't hurt me
Stop this heart from falling
My soul calling out to you
Tell me, do you love me?

You took me off the shelf
Held me close and tenderly
Never gave second thought
Questioned my dark ugly past

How did you know my secret
I own scars shown to the jury
They only hurt when you're away
I sleep endlessly when you gently say

Yes my darling I love you
Because if I didn't
This would hurt me too
Stop my heart from beating
My soul calling out to you
Yes my darling I love you

I love you
I love you
Do you love me
Love me like I love you
I love you
I love you
