a hope for new life
by the gardener's loving hands
awaits the summer sun's kiss
to blossom and decorate the land.
But alas, this bud wilts on the vine.
Neglect killed the unbloomed sad soul
drying up all potential
leaving nothing but an empty hole.
Do not despair. One last seed was found
hidden underneath the brown grass,
lying on the dry soil,
hoping that the rain will come to pass.
The rain did come and the sun did too.
The lonely seed splits giving birth
to the roots feeding below,
holding a vine to cover the earth.
As the vine grew, it produced new buds
flourshing in the Master's hands.
Given loving care, we bloom,
praising our Heavenly Father's plan.
Our hearts long for tender, loving care.
Our souls cry out for our Savior
who raises the dead to life,
bringing hope in blooming forever.

The Parable of the Seed
A bud tenderly cultivatedby the gardener's loving hands
awaits the summer sun's kiss
to blossom and decorate the land.
But alas, this bud wilts on the vine.
Neglect killed the unbloomed sad soul
drying up all potential
leaving nothing but an empty hole.
Do not despair. One last seed was found
hidden underneath the brown grass,
lying on the dry soil,
hoping that the rain will come to pass.
The rain did come and the sun did too.
The lonely seed splits giving birth
to the roots feeding below,
holding a vine to cover the earth.
As the vine grew, it produced new buds
flourshing in the Master's hands.
Given loving care, we bloom,
praising our Heavenly Father's plan.
Our hearts long for tender, loving care.
Our souls cry out for our Savior
who raises the dead to life,
bringing hope in blooming forever.
