co-written with a close friend - stace...ive written the lines 1,3,5...shes written 2,4,6....

Nothing seen, Nothing dealt, noone cared, noone felt

Heavens opened up and tender tears they shed
Drenched in their sorrow, the alone fear to tread
Their warm and loving hearts want to feel some healing,
Unknowing, walking in this world unforgiving

Left by the wayside, alone in the wilderness
Yearning for some tenderness
Wondering why things come to a halt,
Thinking maybe is it their fault?
And locking up their feelings in a vault

Wearing the mask of fakeness
Seeing the world through eyes so tasteless
Having such a cynical view of their surroundings
Nothing seen, nothing dealt, noone cared, noone felt

A stranger amongst friends
Gagged and bound by the hand...
Surrounded by people, but so alone where they stand
Emotions run within,
but none shown without
Tears build upon the sadness of the feeling
Longing for someone to see what they are concealing

If they let someone in, will they walk away after awhile?
Stab them with a knife, after disarming them with a smile
Jump up and down on the smashed heart, had a feeling this would happen at the start

Yet here they find themselves, complaining at the battered doors of destiny
Why did you change my fate again? I thought this was blessed to me?
Everyone has this feeling, why couldnt you let mine be?
I was nearing the feeling of happiness, couldnt you see?
I was there...finally .. I was me

The person I opened up to wasnt scared to hold me in the dark times, still you took them away
And there was nothing I could do, nothing I could say
Apparently this is the way it has to be
So here I am, a shadow of my self...
Like the piece of china, that fell of the shelf

Great co-write. I am still waiting for mine to happen, soon I hope soon. There are a few spots that are tough but otherwise really good.
