Sea Of Shadows
If life were a sheet of paper without end or edge
With words that wrote themselves into being
Leaves of light growing upon ghostly trees
Throwing a sea of shadows across a hearth
like angelic nets to catch unharvested souls
Letting the little ones go back to sleep
In beds where every dream waits to become
Real,
If the mute universe were to suddenly wake
To trumpets sounding One immaculate name
