Taverns On The Moon

I hear up on The Moon there are magic taverns
Where wishes and dreams are served like beer and wine
(If ever you should want a drink
It's not as far as one may think)
Just follow the fireflies small hypnotic lanterns
Shall be sent to light a path to the sky as high as kingdom come
Winding through the evening wind forever blows your thoughts away
Like weightless thistles or even bubbles of laughter floating free from care
Time does not seem to be or weigh that much when you are drinking there
Is everything in the world to keep you here locked tight inside, your mind
May go you know it's so simple to define
But for those whom presume with like inclinations
I hear up on The Moon there are magic taverns
Where wishes and dreams are served like beer and wine...

Commentally Ill
wishes and dreams, dreams and wishes
goblets of glad, and delicate dishes
the palate is pleased, but be ye forewarned
a single taste will entrance you, and a habit is formed
you'll spend your days at the tavern instead
of living your life, you'll be stuck in your head
always and eternally, but don't dread
i'll be right there with you- wait! something i said?

Hans Bump
Very imaginative and fun that it was free-form.
