Tanka

Near the road a snail

Watching me as I approach

He has lost his shell

And yet we have come this far

Each a naked traveler

A very thoughtful and elegant piece, my friend. I enjoy the picture of the shell-less snail, watching. Applause!

I like this :-) I have never written a tanka - it scares me a bit so I always appreciate reading others when they write them, you should do a cinqku.
