Healing

Heartfelt ice thawing,
music plays
unknown melodies
that lilt and touch
the strings
I know are still supple,
rising, falling notes
write my history,
tears of everything
cascade to the hum
rhythm and beat
of life yet to live,
I struggle to dam
the well and welling up
realise,
I am the victor conquering
unconscious patterns,
may I rise victorious.

I like how the first and last words of the poem connect:

heartfelt & victorious

You catch the idea of healing as a process. May you rise victorious. May we all rise victorious.
